Acro dance incorporates fluid movements of dance with the difficult tricks from acrobatics. Dancers not only learn how to execute each move with strength, flexibility, and technique, but also learn how to incorporate it into a dance routine.

Gymnastics and acrobatics are very similar, but it is the execution that makes them different. Both require agility, balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility. Gymnastics focuses mainly on hard-hitting tumbling passes. Acrobatics is more of an art form that has a softer and more fluid touch that focuses on movement and strength.

Acro dance gives dancers a foundation to build flexibility, coordination, strength, as well as control of their body. Acro is a great creative outlet for their feelings and self-expression. They will be able to express themselves through movement and learn how to channel their energy into positivity.

Acro dance allows kids to work in teams and helps to develop and build their self-confidence.
